Permit for Transfer of Bodies for Burial in Israel
Someone who wishes to bring a deceased relative to Israel for burial may do so if less than 30 days or more than a year has passed since the date of death.
A permit is not required for transfer of ashes.
You must fill out an application form for a Permit for Transfer of Body for Burial in Israel, and submit it to the Consulate, together with all the required documents.
Notification of Widowhood
- Original Death Certificate and Apostille

Status Form - completed and signed in front of a Consulate
employee or notary public
- Last passport that was issued to the deceased.
- Valid identification of the widow.
