Translation Authentications

Due to heavy seasonal demand, we will require more time to process each request. Please note the following estimated processing times:
PASSPORT: 2 MONTHS -- VISA: 3 WEEKS -- NOTARIZATION: 1 WEEK

For urgent matters, please call (415) 844-7510 and leave a detailed message, including your full name, Israeli ID number, phone number, and the details of your request, including departure date (if applicable).

The Consulate only provides translation authentications for Israeli government documents.

• The Consulate does not do translating.
• The Consulate can only authenticate original documents from the Israeli goverment.
• The Consulate is not authorized to authenticate nongovernmental documents (i.e. diplomas, legal papers).

When arriving at the Consulate for an authentication, please bring:

1. Original document
2. A copy of the original document that will remain at the Consulate
3. Translation
4. Payment: $13.75 per authentication in cash or money order only

Authentications take a few days to process, and therefore will not be issued on the spot.
