According to the Passport Law of the State of Israel, every
citizen of Israel must enter and leave Israel with an Israeli
Passport even if he or she carries the citizenship of another
country.
Israeli citizenship is granted on the basis of The Law of Return,
permanent residence, birth, naturalization and by grant.
A child born abroad is granted Israeli Citizenship by birth
only if he or she has at least one parent who has earned
citizenship by the Law of Return, by permanent residence, by
naturalization, or by birth.
Passports currently have three week processing time.
