Student Visa

 

Due to heavy seasonal demand, we will require more time to process each request. Please note the following estimated processing times:
PASSPORT: 2 MONTHS -- VISA: 3 WEEKS -- NOTARIZATION: 1 WEEK

For urgent matters, please call (415) 844-7510 and leave a detailed message, including your full name, Israeli ID number, phone number, and the details of your request, including departure date (if applicable).


Student visas to Israel are issued for a period of one year with multiple entries.

Be advised, a student visa requires approximately 3 weeks to be processed.

To apply for a student visa one must either arrive in person with or send by mail the following:

  1. Application for a Tourist Visa - completed and signed
    Note: If the person applying is under 18 years old, both his parents will have to sign the application in front of the Consul or a notary
  2. 2 passport photographs [2" x 2"]
  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least 1 year
  4. Original letter of acceptance
    Note: Without a letter of acceptance a visa will not be processed
  5. Proof of re-entry to the U.S.; i.e. Green Card, I-550 stamp, work visa, etc
  6. Proof of a down payment for studies or a scholarship.
  7. Proof of a return ticket.
  8. An original bank statement showing sufficient funds to support the student during his or her stay in Israel (estimated to be $10,000 for a year). If another party financially supports the student, that party must submit their original bank statement and a notarized letter stating that they will financially support the student.
  9. Payment: $25.00 in cash or money order only
  10. Optional: Return mail
