Tourist Visa

 

Due to heavy seasonal demand, we will require more time to process each request. Please note the following estimated processing times:
PASSPORT: 2 MONTHS -- VISA: 3 WEEKS -- NOTARIZATION: 1 WEEK

For urgent matters, please call (415) 844-7510 and leave a detailed message, including your full name, Israeli ID number, phone number, and the details of your request, including departure date (if applicable).


Tourist visas to Israel are issued for a period of 3 months with a single entry. Upon arrival to Israel, border control will stamp permit of entry and stay; usually for a period of three months.

Be advised, tourist visas require approximately 3 weeks to be processed.
To apply for a tourist visa please provide in person or by mail the following:

  1. Application for a Tourist Visa - completed and signed
    Note: If the person applying is under 18 years old, both parents will have to sign the application in front of the Consul or a notary

  2. 2 passport photographs [2" x 2"]

  3. Passport or travel document valid for at least 6 months

  4. Airline tickets or itinerary

  5. Proof of re-entry to the U.S.; i.e. Green Card, I-550 stamp, work visa, etc

  6. Provide a letter from your employer in the U.S.

  7. Provide an original bank statement showing that you have sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in israel (estimated to be $100 per day, per person). If another party financially supports you, please provide a notarized letter stating they will support you financially along with their original bank statement.

  8. For business travel you need to enclose a letter from your employer and a letter from the company in Israel inviting you. If your employer states a financial guarantee for you, then you are exempt from enclosing a bank statement. Please note that the dates written in the letters and flight tickets must match.

  9. Payment: $17.00 in cash or money order only

  10. Optional: Mail
Attention
  • An American citizen traveling with a U.S. passport does not need a tourist visa.
  • A person arriving in Israel to visit family or friends must provide information including full name, accurate address, telephone number(s), relationship, and Israeli Identification Number.
